We welcome you to visit the Non-Catholic Cemetery in Rome, whether you do it individually or in small groups of friends or family.

For larger groups, read the section below or visit the guided tours page.

Main Entrance for Visitors

Via Caio Cestio, 6, 00153, Roma – Rione Testaccio (district)

Via Caio Cestio is a side-street off Via Marmorata on the north side of the Pyramid. The Cemetery entrance is halfway down Via Caio Cestio on the left.

Notes for group leaders

The Cemetery is private property and an active burial ground where funerals and burials take place and where concession holders visit the graves of their loved ones. The Administration reserves the right to refuse entry to visitors who do not follow the regulations or who disturb the peace and decorum of the site. All visitors enter the Cemetery at their own risk: you are reminded that the ground is uneven – comfortable shoes are a must!

Group leaders should read the Regulations for Visitors and make sure their group members abide by these. If you book a tour and need to cancel or think you might be late, please call the Cemetery as soon as possible.

On arrival please report first to the Visitors’ Centre to leave donations and to receive updated information.
